Sam [00:00:21]:
Hello, and welcome to episode and of The Chris and Sam podcast.

Chris [00:00:26]:
I’m Chris.

Sam [00:00:26]:
And I’m Sam. Welcome along to your weekly fix of randomness technology in life, and dickheads trying to break into my car again.

Chris [00:00:33]:
Oh, ma’am. So what happened?

Sam [00:00:35]:
I parked at the Sunning Street car park, which has a new name.

Chris [00:00:39]:
Oh, yes.

Sam [00:00:40]:
Yep. And, I walked back from work. And I was looking at the car, and I was like, that back window is broken. I was like, dickheads. So they broke the little back window, which has an alarm sticker on it, and I’m assuming the alarm went off, which I put in last The. And, that was it. Just a broken window.

Chris [00:01:00]:
Is that the same window that they broke last time type thing?

Sam [00:01:03]:
The side? Yeah. Yep. So that was all good. Luckily because I had, stuff, I had, like, a hard drive from 48 hours and stuff in the The, that I was sending back that day. And I was like, anyway, it was all there and they didn’t get in. They just literally broke this window. And it was right. Yeah.

Sam [00:01:21]:
It was right next to where you pay and go over the bridge. Like, it’s the most visible spot.

Chris [00:01:30]:
Yeah.

Sam [00:01:31]:
Yeah. In the world. So anyway, pain in the arse. I fashioned a fake window out of MDF. So that’s jammed in there. I left the car at home today. Sarah dropped me off in the morning, and I caught the bus back, which is just average. And I rang up Smith and Smith, and I was like I literally rang them up for a quote because I was like and they’re like, oh 0.

Sam [00:01:55]:
We can see your estate. We’re all tied in with their system. You have, no excess on glass. It’s all good. We’re gonna fix it right on up. What side is it? And they’ll, oh, hang on. Oh, we’ve got heaps of the right hand side? Hang on. We can do it Monday.

Sam [00:02:08]:
We have to get that piece of glass in from somewhere. Oh, okay. So that’s getting fixed on Monday.

Chris [00:02:15]:
Okay. Yeah. So I suppose they always smash the passenger side.

Sam [00:02:20]:
I think they smashed the no. They smashed the driver’s side last time outside my house. And, yeah, they’re just idiots.

Chris [00:02:27]:
Oh, damn it. That sucks. Oh.

Sam [00:02:30]:
Yeah. It’s just a pain in the arse. So, yes, that happened. Oh, a work story for you. I went up to the photocopier to print out something and there’s a guy The. Don’t know what he does, but he’s on the same floor as me. And he’s got like an A3 sheet of paper and he’s trying to shrink it down to something smaller. And he literally just rages out at this photocopier.

Sam [00:02:56]:
It was so funny. And he was just like, it’s just the the biggest piece of crap in the world. They never do what you want. I just what the hell? He’s just, like, mashing these buttons, which probably wasn’t helping. And then then he’s just like, oh.

Chris [00:03:09]:
So it’s it’s big enough to handle a 3. I I Yeah. Yeah.

Sam [00:03:13]:
It’s a big ass photocopy. Yeah. Yeah.

Chris [00:03:14]:
Yeah.

Sam [00:03:15]:
Yeah. And he’s like, oh, 0, what’s going on? And then he goes, right. And it spits out a piece of paper that’s slightly smaller. And he’s like, right. Stuff it. And then he’s just got, like, the guillotine thing, and he’s chopping this paper like mad. Anyway, it was a good little interaction. I quite liked it.

Sam [00:03:34]:
Oh, shout shout out to, Jamie Oxley. He sent he sent me a few voice, memos. He does that while he’s driving, I think. It sounds like he’s in a truck. Yeah. He just said he liked my old work stories. Someone he knows works at 1 of the other councils somewhere. And just a big shout out.

Sam [00:03:50]:
So thanks, Jamie. Cool. Cool. Yeah. I, I had

Chris [00:03:53]:
a big, event yesterday.

Sam [00:03:58]:
Was it a heart attack?

Chris [00:04:00]:
No. No. No. Not with sort of a beat. Jesus. I don’t know. No. No.

Chris [00:04:05]:
I had the we had our introductory workshop for the TEDx University of Whitecap. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. How about you? So, I I was I will admit I was a little nervous. Yeah. Because, you know, I I need to

Sam [00:04:22]:
This is a pain gig. It’s

Chris [00:04:24]:
A 2 to 3 hour workshop to 6, professors.

Sam [00:04:29]:
And you’re getting paid for it. Like, if it was free, you could just go, oh, you know.

Chris [00:04:34]:
Yeah. So, 6 research professors and the vice, deputy vice chancellor there. So, but yeah. No. It went really well. I’ll and didn’t turn up. The AI chick.

Sam [00:04:46]:
Oh, no. Okay.

Chris [00:04:47]:
So I’m like, I hope she doesn’t think she’s gonna get AI to, you know, write and read this bloody, tool for it.

Sam [00:04:55]:
I don’t know. You think they’d be smarter than that? Who knows?

Chris [00:04:59]:
I don’t know. No. I I think maybe something came up because the vice chancellor a deeply vice chancellor was trying to get hold of The, and she wasn’t available anywhere. So she might have something might have happened. So anyway, I haven’t heard back today about what happened with that. But yeah. No. It it went well.

Chris [00:05:13]:
Everybody’s pretty pleased. We had so much drama trying to get the technology to work. When I first got there, we ended up, oh, no. You’re gonna be in this room. Oh, no. We’ll go back to that room because this wasn’t working and da da da da da da da. So I think I’m gonna end up with a guest, Waikato University,

Sam [00:05:32]:

Chris [00:05:32]:
Login and stuff so I can do all The stuff going forward. Because you’ve got 3 more workshops to do. So they’ve got 2 or 3 weeks to write chris script, basically. So anyway, it’s pretty cool. So I should

Sam [00:05:44]:
Do you catch up weekly with them?

Chris [00:05:46]:
No. We’ve got the, the the workshop. We’ve got 4 workshops, you know, 3 Evo talks and the initial 1, and, and they’ll be doing and on 1 coaching with The. So that’ll be booking time. So I had I have nobody’s booked any time yet, which I wouldn’t expect, today anyway. And, yeah. They’ll they’ll start booking some times, and we’ll get that sorted out. And then the next workshop’s 26th, I think, of July.

Chris [00:06:13]:
So yeah.

Sam [00:06:14]:
Busy. Busy. That’d be very good.

Chris [00:06:16]:
It was good. It was good. It was good.

Sam [00:06:18]:
We have done, I have published some, what do you call it, field days interviews. I’ve still got some to go. My mental bandwidth at the end of the day is very small at the moment. I’m eating really well, and I’m not spending money because I’m pretty much broke now because I took a pretty decent pay cut, for the new job, but it’s a calculated risk. And, so I’ve done some publishing. We really need to research these people a bit before The more talking to them, maybe? So the woman from Daisy Lab has done a TEDx talk.

Chris [00:06:55]:
Oh, wow.

Sam [00:06:56]:
So I think you should have mentioned that you do that because that would have been a good thing to tap into. Right? Right. The was interesting. Now, Hassan from Magic Tea. Right?

Chris [00:07:06]:
Yeah.

Sam [00:07:07]:
He he he’s the only 1 that emailed back and says, that’s amazing, guys. Thank you so much. Like, nicest guy in the world.

Chris [00:07:13]:
He is good. He was good.

Sam [00:07:14]:
I said to Sarah when I was explaining it, I said I got really big Diego vibes off him.

Chris [00:07:19]:
Yeah. Yeah.

Sam [00:07:20]:
Yeah. Like, very similar. One’s from Iran,

Chris [00:07:22]:
one’s from Brazil. That’s a good call.

Sam [00:07:24]:
That is a? Yeah. Okay. He okay. His partner, his wife, who’s who is a herbologist, she has many years in film background, whatever that means, on The website. He has spent many years as a professional horse rider

Chris [00:07:42]:
and

Sam [00:07:43]:
spent many years as a professional voice actor.

Chris [00:07:46]:
I could believe the voice actor. Yeah. Yeah. So He sounded great. Yeah.

Sam [00:07:50]:
So that was pretty good. Oh, and the original, Smoke and Spice Co, the 2 brothers?

Chris [00:07:56]:
Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Sam [00:07:57]:
Yeah. I haven’t released that 1 yet. But I said, you know, they gave us something. So every what just go me here. Once in a while, people give us some product. Now we’re not out there to get product. It doesn’t influence what we say because they always give it to us at the end.

Chris [00:08:13]:
Yeah. Yeah. It’s it’s usually an afterthought thing.

Sam [00:08:15]:
Yeah. But those guys, I said to Sarah, I’ve got The. And Sarah goes, oh, I’ve sold like 100 of dollars worth of that stuff. Because they allow you to sell their products as a fundraiser.

Chris [00:08:26]:
Oh, wow.

Sam [00:08:27]:
So if you are raising money, you can use their products. So shout out to the original Smoke and Spice Co.

Chris [00:08:33]:
Right. Yeah. I couldn’t even remember their names, actually. And I’ve I’ve used pictures of their stuff so far in bits and pieces. Yeah.

Sam [00:08:41]:
What? I don’t even know what that means.

Chris [00:08:43]:
Well, I’ve used that that stuff that they gave us. I’ve Oh, pinches in the food in the food that I’ve, I’ve made. So yeah. Yeah. But I’m not, what do you call it, seasoning steak or anything. So it’s not really ideal for for what I do.

Sam [00:09:01]:
Yeah. So going back to the podcast, some podcasters have a website, some don’t. And we do. And I think ours is pretty cool because you can go and find everything and anything. And while I’m doing these, field days interviews, I’m like, oh, I’m not busy enough with life in general. So why not yeah. Why not it’s Dara says that to me all the time. But, you you know, it’s like anyway, I decide to rejig the front of the website a little bit.

Sam [00:09:32]:
So it looks a bit better. That’s cool. And then I’m like, oh, it’d be really cool if we had a random button. You press a random button, it takes you to a random podcast episode. Right? So, so so I built that. It’s on the website right now. You should check it out and see see where it takes you. But I realised I hadn’t added the audio player to maybe 250 episodes.

Sam [00:09:54]:
What? I don’t know. Something happened. It’s called, having a seizure, maybe. So I sat there for a couple of hours and I updated the whole website. It’s all fixed. You’ll see the button there. If you click it, it’ll take you somewhere.

Chris [00:10:08]:
Surprise me. Oh, yeah.

Sam [00:10:09]:
Yep. That’s it. And, it works really well. And now hopefully

Chris [00:10:15]:
it’s taken me straight to episode number. Where’s the episode number?

Sam [00:10:22]:
Read read it in the address bar.

Chris [00:10:24]:
In the address bar. Oh, 20. All the way back to 20.

Sam [00:10:28]:
What what happened to episode 20? I I if I could read something

Chris [00:10:32]:
ordering the wrong stuff, crowdsourcing, and podcasts to check out. So, Look

Sam [00:10:37]:
at us go. Look at us go.

Chris [00:10:39]:
Yeah. Yeah.

Sam [00:10:40]:
Yeah. The only thing I still have to do with the website is and, is add all the, transcriptions from all the episodes.

Chris [00:10:48]:
Yeah. Because chris does have a transcription on it. So a summary and some links and stuff.

Sam [00:10:52]:
I do have that, but I haven’t added it. It takes a little while to sort all that out and I can only do so many at a time.

Chris [00:10:58]:
Yeah. Yeah. No. I understand that. That’s cool.

Sam [00:11:00]:
So anyway, if you if you click it again, it’s on the right hand side now. The little blue button.

Chris [00:11:05]:
Oh, okay. Yeah. Hang on.

Sam [00:11:07]:
You see it,

Chris [00:11:08]:
Yeah. I I went out of there. Right. Find a hidden gem. Yep.

Sam [00:11:11]:
Yeah. Click that again.

Chris [00:11:12]:
And now it goes to Canopy Tours, which is episode 6.

Sam [00:11:16]:
Oh my gosh.

Chris [00:11:17]:
It’s liking these early ones. That one’s got a transcript.

Sam [00:11:20]:
Oh, yeah. I’ve done I’ve done some. Yeah. Anyway, I’m pretty happy with how it chris. So I’m hoping it’ll drive up some listens because, apparently not having the audio probably wasn’t good because I think what’s The, our 3rd or 4th iteration of the website?

Chris [00:11:40]:
Well, you told me because, as far as I know, it’s always been perfect.

Sam [00:11:44]:
Yeah. No, but we when we changed podcast hosts, we had to change how we, showed you the little play button. And that was The took a bit of work. But, no, it’s good. The sam. If you’re wondering what we’re talking about, go check it out. Yeah. Like I said, a lot of podcasts don’t have a website as good as ours.

Chris [00:12:07]:
No. Absolutely not. It’s yeah. Yeah. And it’s all down to Sam. Just just putting it out there, anyone who knows me will be going, duh. Of course, it’s all down to Sam. But yeah.

Chris [00:12:21]:
No. It’s it that’s it’s, Sam’s Sam’s done an amazing job with that. So that is cool. Good. And it’s great because it’s something I don’t have to pay for because I don’t pay Sam.

Sam [00:12:33]:
That’s right.

Chris [00:12:34]:
That’s right. Speaking of not paying, actually.

Sam [00:12:37]:
Yes.

Chris [00:12:38]:
I wanted to talk about something. Have you heard of NAS, NAS dot I o? No. Okay. So you’ve heard of Skool. Right? S k, double o, l?

Sam [00:12:47]:
Yes. It’s like a community learning platform, something or other.

Chris [00:12:51]:
And there’s another 1 called Circle, I think.

Sam [00:12:54]:
Yep. Circle.

Chris [00:12:54]:
Yep. Common and popular. So III looked into, school a while ago, and I really like the idea of of starting communities and and creating, like, either masterminds and and that sort of thing.

Sam [00:13:07]:
Yeah.

Chris [00:13:08]:
But school is like and and school got a lot of, notoriety, I guess, is the word because Alex Hormozi bought into it. And so yeah. And he pushed it quite hard. And and that’s a good thing in itself because, you know, he he I think he’s really onto it. So if he thinks there’s something there in the future, I think he’s probably right. I I wouldn’t bet against him, put it that way.

Sam [00:13:34]:
Yeah. Yeah.

Chris [00:13:35]:
So anyway, so I think that’s pretty cool. I was looking at at at school. I was thinking, yeah, I’d like to do that, but I don’t wanna pay a 100 US dollars a month for something that I may not use or may not work or You know what I mean?

Sam [00:13:49]:
Yeah, totally. It’s a weird place to be in. Like, there’s Yeah. I don’t know. There’s people that will throw money into everything, which is 1 way of doing it. But I do think that if you do a bit of research, you can find something that’s cheap or even free to start with.

Chris [00:14:09]:
Dot io. So that’s The I wanted to talk about Nest or why I wanted to mention Nest dot io. It’s been around, I think, for a couple of years now. It’s it’s getting some traction now.

Sam [00:14:19]:
Say it again?

Chris [00:14:21]:
NAS, NAS, dot io.

Sam [00:14:24]:
I’m looking at a completely different website. I’m looking at NATS.

Chris [00:14:28]:
Yeah. No. NAS.

Sam [00:14:29]:
Which almost looks like it could be the same thing.

Chris [00:14:32]:
But yeah. So nest.io, I I think it’s Indian, but they’ve gone with the free free model. So it’s, like, free to use. Right. They take a you can do all your, charging and stuff through them, and they take a percentage of your charge what what you charge. Yep. So so, you know, if you create a free community and you’re offering it for free, they don’t make any money. But when you offer something for money, they take a cut of that, which is, yeah, more than fair.

Chris [00:15:04]:
So that’s cool. And so it looks really good. And I started having a play with it a few weeks ago. To be fair, the last 2 weeks, I haven’t done anything with it, which is 1 of the reasons I’m mentioning it today. So it it it gets the fires lit under my backside again so I can do something. But 1 of the things they’ve recently added is these challenges. So you can create either a paid challenge or a free challenge. So I was thinking of doing a free 7 day challenge and maybe putting together a, a paid 30 day challenge for, you know, speakers or whatever.

Chris [00:15:38]:
So, but, yeah, if anybody’s looking at, creating a community specifically, yeah, definitely check out nest.io because everything I’ve played with so far, and I haven’t played with it as much as I’d like to, looks really good. It’s slick. It makes sense. It’s intuitive.

Sam [00:15:59]:
Yeah. It looks quite nice.

Chris [00:16:01]:
Yeah. It’s very, customizable, I guess is the word. So, yeah, I thought that would be my, shout out for tech for 2024 since it’s probably long since long time since I’ve come up with anything worth talking about.

Sam [00:16:17]:
I’ve got some tech for you because I’ve been playing around with some stuff. There’s a budgeting budgeting app called YNAB. You need a budget. And, I’ve used it for years. It was a desktop app, which was great because because it’s a 1 time purchase. You could own it forever and use it. And then they decided That’s

Chris [00:16:34]:
what I bought, and I’ve still got that. And you

Sam [00:16:36]:
can still use it. Yeah.

Chris [00:16:37]:
Yep.

Sam [00:16:38]:
And, they decided to go to a software as a service. It’s all in the browser on the cloud. Works really good. Looks really nice. The last price increase was 3 years ago. They’ve done another price increase this year for another $10. I think it’s gonna be, like, a and US dollars a year. Right? And I as a side tangent, everybody and every company has decided to raise prices 1st July because of inflation.

Sam [00:17:08]:
I think some of them are making it up. I see New Zealand

Chris [00:17:11]:
rent’s gone up again.

Sam [00:17:12]:
Yeah. Well, I’m looking forward to that too. New Zealand Post is I went in there the other day to send out some certificates, and they’re like, oh, the price has gone up, but it didn’t really tell me what it was. Anyway, so there’s not many alternatives to this YNAB program that work as well as it does. Okay? Yep. There is 1 called actual. Actual budget is what it’s called. And the guy, 7 months ago, decided to make it completely open source.

Sam [00:17:41]:
And he’s like, here it is. I’ll update it, but you have to host it. Okay. Now there’s, like, these people that just go, hey, I’ve written a blog post on how to host it. You just go, Here, go in the command shell, write this code, do this, open a Docker, whatever the hell that is. Do The, spin up a server, do chris, rah rah rah rah rah rah rah rah. And that’s great for the very small amount of people that know what that means.

Chris [00:18:08]:
Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah.

Sam [00:18:09]:
Like, I understand the concepts, but I don’t know I can’t be bothered sorting that out. So somebody else pointed everybody to this website called Pikapods, PIKAP0DS. And it’s a service, I guess, and you get to deploy your own open source apps in seconds. You sign up. You get $5 worth of credit straight off the bat. This actual budget is going to cost and dollar 40 a month to run it. And when you sign up, you can pick how much RAM and how much service space you need. It tells you what the suggestion is for this open source thing.

Sam [00:18:50]:
And they’ve probably got 40 open source projects on there now that you can just spin up. Some of chris, I have no idea what it is. Like Uptime Kuma, Trago, you know, random things. So it’s, yeah, it’s pretty interesting. It’s super cheap and it’s a good way to if they’ve got something that you want to fire up something.

Chris [00:19:14]:
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No. That sounds interesting. I might have to have a look at that.

Sam [00:19:18]:
But in budgeting, there’s another 1. It’s called, Buckets Budgeting, I think. And the guy lets you download the software, so it’s not online. You don’t need a server. Works really well. I quite like it. And he’s like, hey. I’ll give you trial version for as long as you want.

Sam [00:19:34]:
Like, literally, who cares? It just has this little yellow trial thing. But if you wanna do a 1 off payment, which he tells you what it is, that’s cool. But if you’re from a The world country, he goes, I actually understand that even though this might be cheap in America, like, this might be really expensive in your country. So he’s partnered with some crowd, I think. Something to do with bread. Can’t remember the name. Okay. But you basically pay for 20 loaves of bread in your own currency and then he gives it to you.

Sam [00:20:06]:
So I thought that was pretty cool.

Chris [00:20:08]:
That’s that’s pretty cool. That’s pretty cool.

Sam [00:20:10]:
Yeah. And he hacked up the prices, though, because of inflation. The price of bread went up, you know, in, like, Somalia.

Chris [00:20:17]:
That that is a tough 1 because the whole Ukraine thing, which is still obviously Oh. Drowning on drowning on, that that that that wheat because the wheat from Russia and Ukraine is is was it some stupid amount, like 25% of the wheat in the world or something? So

Sam [00:20:37]:
That’s crazy. Yeah. I see.

Chris [00:20:38]:
Yeah. So The so the price of wheat, which is the price of bread, effectively, has gone up around the world.

Sam [00:20:43]:
Yeah. Do you know do you know what else has gone up in the price of, things?

Chris [00:20:47]:
No. I

Sam [00:20:47]:
don’t think that was a proper sentence. But I don’t care. I’m tired.

Chris [00:20:53]:
I’m at the council now. Nobody cares if I sam English properly.

Sam [00:20:56]:
Yeah. Exactly. The Whitaker’s chocolate. It’s gone up. And and they they sent out an email a while back, and they said, look. We’re still making the exact same large blocks. We’re still making the same great product. The price has gone up.

Sam [00:21:11]:
Like, you know and we’ve held off the price for as long as we could. But the raw ingredients, we get it from, you know, Fairtrade, blah blah blah blah. So this dude in South And, I was reading this today in the news, he got arrested for stealing nearly 250 blocks of it from the supermarket, he, yeah, he, loaded up a trolley with 241 blocks of Whitaker’s chocolate with a retail value of $1300 And the on-site security staff were able to lock the trolley, which he then tried to drag before it was tipped over and all the stuff fell out. I’m not much of a robber or somebody that steals stuff, but have you ever seen somebody load a whole trolley up with Whitakers and pay for it legitimately? Like, it would be such a weird thing. It’s like he’s not a merchandiser. He’s just some rando dude. And why Whitaker’s chocolate? Like, I don’t know.

Chris [00:22:14]:
That is the weirdest story. That Yeah. That’s gonna be

Sam [00:22:17]:
That’s gotta go around the world. That’s gonna be 1 of those weird stories that, you know, The buddy whoever the alternate version of us in another country I

Chris [00:22:25]:
was just going to say, the Tim and Paul podcast in America.

Sam [00:22:30]:
The won’t be as good as us.

Chris [00:22:32]:
No no way.

Sam [00:22:32]:
And they only started, like, 6 months ago. We’ve been going with 10 years.

Chris [00:22:36]:
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Actually, on that talking about America, so

Sam [00:22:41]:
What what is going on with that debate? He now said he was tired? Is that what he said?

Chris [00:22:47]:
Yeah. He was tired. He was he was jet lagged.

Sam [00:22:49]:
It’s because he’s rubbish as

Chris [00:22:51]:
trip to so he did do 4 trips back and forth to Europe within a 4 day period, but The was 12 days before the event before the debate. Oh, okay. Okay. So

Sam [00:23:03]:
yeah. It’s

Chris [00:23:04]:
No. So he he totally lost that debate. Biden lost the debate. Trump won the debate. If you talk about, public response to it. Right? Because Yes. Trump talked crap the whole time. He said

Sam [00:23:20]:
Oh, no. No.

Chris [00:23:21]:
Nothing true. But he said it with such Conviction. Conviction, somewhat like I do, where people just believe what I say even though I have no idea what I’m saying. And he he is exactly that. Whereas Biden was was trying to be polite, and his talking points The they gave him way too many talking points. He should’ve had 4 talking points and just gone with that. They gave him, like, 200 or sam stupid And it it was just it was just a waste of time. Anyway, that was not the big news of the week.

Sam [00:23:54]:
Okay. Go ahead. What’s The?

Chris [00:23:55]:
News of the week was the supreme court on its last day of term came back with the immunity thing. And everybody was going, oh, they’re just dragging the chain on this thing because you can’t give presidents immunity and from legal action. But, you know, they’re just giving him time. Well, no. Last day of the term, they put it through. And, yeah, they’re like, yes. Presidents get immunity.

Sam [00:24:18]:
You cannot Why?

Chris [00:24:20]:
No. Thing no. Hang on. You can’t there’s an official if they have an official, is it 1 of The official duties, they have full immunity. If it’s a, if it’s tangential to The official duties, it’s presumed immunity. So, like, if they talk to somebody who works with them, well, we’re gonna assume that’s official. So we’re gonna assume they’re immune. And it’s only if it’s personal stuff that’s got nothing to do with predicitancy at all that they don’t get immunity.

Chris [00:24:55]:
So the the Supreme Court has basically said, you know, well, he was doing his official duties when he was interfacing with the crowd that stormed the Capitol, so he should be immune for that.

Sam [00:25:10]:
No. No.

Chris [00:25:11]:
So yeah. I know. It’s crazy. And so it’s like The the world chris just turned upside down for a lot of Americans at the moment. That that’s AII put it on Facebook today, actually. Happy Dependents Day for tomorrow because it used to be Independence Day, but now that you’ve got a monarch again because this is effectively what they’ve done. They said The the president cannot be, done for anything. So, yeah.

Chris [00:25:37]:
That’s, so I I decided I would, through the Chris and Sam podcast, send my advice to president Biden because I know what he should do.

Sam [00:25:47]:
We know he’s listening to.

Chris [00:25:48]:
I’m I’m sure he is. Taking notes, I’m sure. So, what he should do is assassinate president Trump because The and 1 of the, judges who, declined would not declined, but desisted or whatever said, I I disagree. She goes, this means that you can assassinate your political rival and be immune. Like, that’s what you can do.

Sam [00:26:14]:
Don’t give him ideas.

Chris [00:26:16]:
So well, no. Biden’s president at the moment. So he should, a, assassinate Trump, or, b, send send these, Supreme Court justices The are all nutso into Guantanamo Bay. Or at the very least, just, relieve, Trump of his Secret Service detail and just go, oh, yeah. No. You you’re not a president anymore, and you’ve been a naughty boy so you don’t get Secret Service anymore. And just see how and just see how long he lasts.

Sam [00:26:51]:
I forgot that he does have Secret Service.

Chris [00:26:53]:
Yeah. Oh, no. He he’s all over at Secret Service.

Sam [00:26:57]:
There’s, talking about The, I haven’t really watched it. But there’s this young American guy, must be late twenties of that. He does a YouTube channel, and it must be sort of advertising the military or whatever. And he’s just going into these random things. Like, he’s like, oh, this is the, the number 1, the top jet fighter in America. Let’s have a look at it. And he’s, like, in it. And then, oh, this is an Apache whatever the top attack helicopter is.

Sam [00:27:30]:
And The, like, take him out, and he’s in another helicopter watching it. And they’re like, oh, we’re not gonna fire the big missiles, but we’ll fire these little ones. And they’re like but he’s got a video where after months of backwards and forwards, him and his team got clearance to go into the Secret Service to where their training facility is, to The museum that they’ve got, to everything they’ve got underground and all sorts of stuff. Hey.

Chris [00:27:54]:
No 1 is this guy?

Sam [00:27:56]:
Yeah. I don’t He’s really young. Like, he looks young. Like, late twenties or something. I don’t know how I don’t know his backstory. I don’t know how he’s connected, but he seems to have access to some really interesting stuff. Yeah. The videos are pretty good.

Sam [00:28:11]:
I saw the Apache helicopter 1 or whatever it was.

Chris [00:28:14]:
Yeah. I’ve I’ve got to admit, I’ve been, keep going down the rabbit hole on YouTube of real life law

Sam [00:28:23]:
Okay.

Chris [00:28:23]:
And, business basics, I think. They’re like 20 minute, 30 minute documentaries, lot of infographics, and all that sort of thing about geopolitical stuff.

Sam [00:28:33]:
Oh, yes.

Chris [00:28:33]:
Yeah. No. No. Really cool. I I mean, I I find that really fascinating anyway. Okay. Let’s finish this up. I do wanna laugh at this.

Chris [00:28:43]:
See, America does have trouble with justice, but not every country does. So, what is this country? Singapore. Singapore, they put sent God to jail. So that’s cool.

Sam [00:28:57]:
Okay. Okay. And what? A person pretend to be god or what?

Chris [00:29:02]:
Well, no. She is a deity. Wu Mei Ho is her name.

Sam [00:29:06]:
I bet it is. Yep.

Chris [00:29:07]:
4 year old Singaporean. And she was sentenced to 10 and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to 5 charges, including cheating and causing grievous hurt with another 45 charges taken into consideration. And she brainwashed her spiritual followers into believing she was a deity and subjected them to cruel punishments for disobedience, including being forced to eat feces and having their teeth pulled out.

Sam [00:29:34]:
Oh, what?

Chris [00:29:35]:
Yeah. Not the sort of god I would recommend you follow is, my my general I

Sam [00:29:41]:
just can’t believe that these cult y things get happen.

Chris [00:29:46]:
Yeah. And and, basically, she sort of follows The had to clear their bad karma and increase their good karma to improve their health. And, they do that by making payments too.

Sam [00:30:25]:
Too much. I don’t know.

Chris [00:30:27]:
7,000,000 Singaporean dollars, which is about 5.2 US1000000. So yeah.
