Business Intelligence (Power BI) Developer

Location: Palm Beach County, Florida

About the Opportunity

Synergy Business Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to support enterprise reporting, data analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.

This is a hands on technical role focused on developing scalable BI solutions, optimizing reporting performance, and working with complex data environments. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Power BI, SQL Server, the Microsoft BI stack, and data warehousing , along with the ability to collaborate with architects, technical teams, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports, and reporting solutions.
\n
• Develop complex DAX calculations, Power Query transformations, and optimized data models.
\n
• Write, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, database tables, views, and indexes.
\n
• Integrate multiple data sources into enterprise reporting and data warehouse environments.
\n
• Support Power BI administration, security, reporting architecture, and performance optimization.
\n
• Collaborate with solution architects, Agile teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions.
\n
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
\n

Required Qualifications

\n
• 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development and enterprise reporting.
\n
• Strong hands on experience with Microsoft Power BI , including advanced DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
\n
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server , complex SQL development, and query optimization.
\n
• Experience with the Microsoft BI stack , including SSRS and familiarity with MDX.
\n
• Knowledge of Power BI Service, administration, security, and access management .
\n
• Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts , reporting architecture, and data integration.
\n
• Experience working with AWS and Amazon Redshift .
\n
• Ability to independently manage complex technical assignments and collaborate with technical and business teams.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
