Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious CDL Driver to join our team. The driver will operate a dually pickup truck and trailer to transport construction materials, tools, and equipment between company locations, suppliers, and job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and experience towing trailers in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a dually pickup truck with a trailer to transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Deliver and pick up materials and equipment from suppliers, company locations, and construction job sites.
• Properly load, secure, and unload materials and equipment.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported safely.
• Maintain accurate delivery tickets, vehicle inspection reports, and other required paperwork.
• Follow DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
• Keep the truck and trailer clean and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Communicate with project managers, superintendents, and field personnel regarding deliveries and schedules.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and other job site duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL appropriate for the vehicle combination being operated.
• Experience driving a dually truck while towing a trailer preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge of trailer safety, load securement, and vehicle inspections.
• Ability to safely maneuver and back a truck and trailer in tight construction job sites.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift and move construction materials and equipment as needed.
• Willingness to work outdoors and travel between job sites.
