Job Description
**Position:** Hot Shot Driver (Non-CDL)
**Equipment:** Ford F-250 & 40ft Flatbed Gooseneck Trailer
**Location:** Based out of Houston, TX (Regional & OTR routes)
**Pay:** 25% Gross Pay of every load ($1,000 - $1,500+ weekly potential)
**Job Type:** Contract / 1099
**Rotation schedule: 3 weeks of driving on the road followed by 1 full week of rest at home
**About the Role:**
We are a growing transport company looking for a reliable, hard-working, and safety-focused Hot Shot Driver to operate a clean Ford F-250 paired with a 40-foot flatbed trailer. **Responsibilities:**
• Safely operate and navigate a pickup truck and 40ft flatbed trailer combo.
• Properly secure all cargo using straps, chains, and binders to ensure damage-free delivery.
• Follow assigned GPS routes closely and maintain strictly on-time delivery schedules.
• Manage and organize delivery paperwork (BOLs, rate confirmations) efficiently.
• Maintain open and clear communication with dispatch and clients throughout transit.
• Adhere to zero-tolerance policies regarding excessive engine idling during stops.
**Requirements:**
• Valid Class C Driver’s License (Non-CDL required, Class A or commercial driving experience preferred).
• Clean Driving Record (MVR) with no recent accidents or major violations.
• Must be willing to provide/download your official PSP and MVR reports for immediate review.
• Must pass a standard pre-employment drug screening.
• Proven experience with proper load securement (straps, chains, and chaining down freight).
• High level of responsibility, punctuality, and work ethic.
