HR Assistant I

Target Pay Rate: $32.40 per hour

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with ATS, HRIS, and email communication tools

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Previous experience supporting HR functions in a manufacturing or plant environment
• Background in interview coordination, record keeping, or onboarding processes
• Experience conducting background checks and verifying employment information

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred
• Entry-level to 2 years of HR coordinating experience

Other Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced plant setting
• Comfortable with extensive follow-up and person-to-person interactions
• On-site work in Trenton, NJ, with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and organizational needs
• Valid work authorization for the U.S.
